Instructions

THE ELECTRICAL MAST CONNECTION MASTER FLASH® IS A ONE PIECE FLASHING CLOSED WITH STAINLESS STEEL GRIPPERS 

  1. Measure for correct pipe size
  2. Apply shingles up to lower edge of pipe
  3. Cut (EMC) flashing opening to appropriate size for you pipe
  4. Wrap (EMC) flashing around pipe and close by crimping on stainless steel grippers
  5. Apply sealant to the underside of (EMC)  base and secure base with roofing nails
  6. Apply sealant around the top of the (EMC) flashing where it meets the pipe, and along joiner seam
  7. Finish applying shingles over sides and upper portion of the (EMC) flashing

Note: Properly installed the lower approximately 1/3” (8.4mm) of the (EMC) base will be on the top of the shingles and the upper approximately 2/3; (16.9mm) of the (EMC) base will be covered by the shingles
